Process Engineering
DELMIA Process Engineering helps create and optimize lean production systems for manufacturing models from Make to Stock to Build to Order. Engineers and project managers can accelerate the planning of new products and variant introductions, reduce product and resource physical prototypes with 4D simulation, and maximize space and resource utilization to increase factory performance and safety. Through the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, a groundbreaking user experience in Process Planning is delivered. Process Planning helps users to simulate, validate, and effectively plan essential manufacturing capabilities for all industries and resources.
Process Engineer
Process Engineer provides all essential capabilities to define, optimize and validate manufacturing process plans for any product within a 3D-oriented solution. The user is able to define its Manufacturing Bill Of Material (MBOM) by specifying all necessary sub-assemblies, installation and transformation steps, as well as specify make or buy parts and assemblies, and detail all corresponding routings and manufacturing operations. These routings and manufacturing operations can be balanced across the product line by optimizing the workload and resource utilization. All along the definition phase, the user can immediately check and validate manufacturing process plans by stepping through the complete fabrication sequence and directly visualizing the corresponding product buildup in 3D including related tooling and resources. These plans can then be leveraged by downstream stakeholders, minimizing rework as they enrich the plan from concept to execution.
Work Instructions
Work Instructions Creator is a web solution for 3D Work Instructions definition. It enables textual and 3D Working Instructions creation, update and publication. Web-based solution that uses Manufacturing and Service Processes & Operations as input for authoring Working Instructions with part manipulation and dress up creation in the right 3D context.
Assembly Simulation Engineer
Assembly Simulation Engineer enables users to perform product assembly feasibility studies in 3D. The powerful, intuitive capabilities are used to discover potential assembly issues and communicate these discoveries directly to product or tooling designers, process engineer or other stakeholders early, when changes are easier and less expensive. Assembly Simulation Engineer can directly access any information regarding process plans and 3D layout. Users can leverage this information by generating the motion tracks. This provides the optimizing and validating the global assembly process in the most efficient way.
Factory Simulation Engineer
Factory Simulation Engineer lets engineers design factory layouts, and define & validate the behavior of a station, a line or a complete plant in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. They see their systems in 3D as they design them. They can assess and fine-tune the performance of production systems, conducting feasibility and performance studies. They can identify bottlenecks early in the planning process and maximize production rates with alternate routings. They can optimize resource positioning thanks to precise 3D simulation.
Ergonomic Simulation
Ergonomic simulation with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform enables designers and engineers to virtually assess human interaction with products and workplaces early in the design process. This proactive approach helps identify and resolve ergonomic issues, enhancing employee well-being, reducing work-related injuries, and boosting productivity. By simulating human behavior in 3D, companies can optimize designs for safety and efficiency before physical implementation.
